Password Problem

Hey everyone,
This seems like a stupid problem but im stumped. Awhile ago I set a password on my x3i (a 4 digit numeric) and now I want to remove it. Problem is the 'security' icon in settings isn't there. The only reason I can figure this happened is this. I had picture password installed w/ a 4 digit password if you failed to hit hte right spot on the picture password. Well I removed picture password and the security icon disapered when that was gone. All and all, I dont know how to remove my password.

Go to Start Menu, Settings, Personal Tab, and then Password Icon. Uncheck "Prompt if device unused" box then delete the password and close the window. That should do it.

See thats the problem, when i go start, settings, personal tab, i have no password icon! Sorry if i didn't make that clear, thats the problem, no password icon to change this

Do a soft reset and check again. Also, do a hard reset and then cancel it.

Check then.

Is there an empty spot where it would be? Try tapping there if there is.

Soft reset ive tried, no go. I just tried a hard and canceld, also no go. No there is no missing spot for it, its just gone.

Bump* Still having this issue, anyone seen this before?
