No offense, but I did try a couple versions of the X50 mix program with my Sony earbuds and it wasn't even close. The iPAQs could produce lower lows without distortion, cleaner highs, and had a lower SNR. My active noise cancelIation Sony earbuds were even worse! I've heard people say that the X50v has great sound using mix, but we will simply have to agree to disagree. Options, I'm not as much concerned about as sound quality.

Wait a minute- X50mix works with X30s?! (too afraid installing it will screw something up)

No it doesn't work with the X30 markaman.

The Compaq iPaq's do have better bass response but I usually use Sony MDR-V700DJ's so bass response is definitley not an issue for me. ;) That's not an endorsement of that reseller. I just needed a picture.

DO NOT use 16 ohm headphones use 32ohm instead
