ho w do i get rid of recent apps list perminatly and have more then 7 selected apps

So far as I've read, you can't get rid of the recent applications part of the Start menu. The 7 apps limit is hardcoded somewhere and can't be altered. At least not without some extremely serious hacking that would probably be way more effort than its worth for that.

Well you definitely cannot both permanently remove the recent programs list and at the same time have it show more than 7 programs. You can use the freeware program in my signature to clean up the recent programs list. It does require a soft-reset to work properly.
