How do I copy and play dvd on the Axim X30

Still a new axim user. I need help with how to download a movie from a cd and play it on my X30. If anyone knows, please let me know.

From a CD or DVD, as the thread title says?

I recomend using FairUse Wizard. Does not require a seperate program to rip the DVD and you can even specify what size of file and size of video you would like. Very nice :approve:

My bad. It's been a while since I looked at that tutorial. After using DVDShrink I actually use pocketDivX encoder to make a file between 200 to 300MB and then use betaplayer to play it. That whole process takes about an hour from DVD to ppc and there's good control of quality. I'm sure FairUse is just as good or probably better, though. One of the things that's neat about getting a new toy is getting toplay around with it, so try different methods and settings to see what you like.

And of course you'll need a storage card big enough to fit your file on...
