Question WebIs - Gmail

Very new to WebIs 2.0 and I love it so far. Great tool!!! Can anyone tell / show me how to setup it up so it can synchronize with my gmail account. Is this possible?

bump

Looking for more responses to this. I'm trying to set up Gmail with WebIS as well, and I want to know if anyone else got it to work well. (Bondr was wonderful about giving me a step-by-step, but mine still won't come through, so I'm looking for any other tricks).

Thanks SO MUCH!!!

Using your directions, it still didn't work, but I went to the link you included and poked it all again, WOW it really works!

Thanks for yet another source of information that finally recolved a long, difficult issue for me.

Happy now,
Purr

2 questions:

1) does this have the same issue as pocket outlook, where your messages will all disappear from inbox/outbox when you check the next time?

2) does this, like using pocket outlook, require you to re-enable pop access in your gmail account every morning in order for it to work??

No. That's why I want this instead of Outlook.

No. Not for me.

Thanks 24va! I just tried it, and it worked like a charm. At first it didn't work, but that's becuase I didn't enable the POP in my gmail account settings.

Thanks, this was very helpful. :approve: However I did not get it to work unless I set the security setting in Ingoing and Outgoing to "use ONLY strong encryption algorithms" :)
