Help with trying to move my data from my Palm to my x30

Can anyone please help me with trying to export my Palm PM's over to the x30 format?
I cant seem to figure out how to get my past DateBook entries over.
I have tried to export my Datebook form my Palm Desktop but Outlook will not read it.
Any idea's???

What makes this even more frustrating is that I can't seem to be able to sync my Palm any more.
I tried to un-install Microsoft's ActiveSync hoping that that would allow my hotsync to sync one last time but my Palm will no longer sync to my PC...

Only thing I can do at this point is beam which would take all year to do with all the data in DateBook.

Thanks

I think you can sync with Yahoo and then to Outlook. Uses the free Intellisync software. Check it out.

Another option:

If you Palm came with PocketMirror.... Once you have installed the copy of Outlook that ships with the Axim load PocketMirror and use it to sync the Palm PIM info to Outlook (you might need to grab the updated version on their website). You can then uninstall PocketMirror. ActiveSync will then copy everything from Outlook over to the PPC.

Well now my problem is that I can no longer sync my Palm to my PC...
Strange

I have all my data in Palm Desktop so I need to try to figure out how to get the info over to Outlook
Now I have recently upgraded to outlook 2003.
You said to sync to the Outlook that the x30 came with.
Will it not work with 2003?
Thanks

I tried several programs like Intellisync, and Pocket Mirror, but what I eventually did was the following:

1) use Palm software to upload my data to the Palm deskop.
2) exported a 'vcard' to my computer
3) opened Outlook and imported the vcard
4) sync the desktop Outlook with my X30

The downside was I had to do each contact at a time, as I could not select all the do the transfer in one operation.

It sure beat entering each contact manually, but I am not a very popular guy, only having about 13 contacts on my Palm :rolling:

I was having the same problem trying to get all of my Palm entries moved over.Intellisync, syncing with Outlook, and syncing with Yahoo all didn't work. Then I found Resync. It connects to either your palm, or your Palm Desktop and can sync with Outlook. Great program. It only took about 20 second to copy everything over, and it's free to try. I highly recommend it.
