Unable to register LIT files after reinstalling Microsoft Reader

The inevitable happened. I have to reset my X3 which caused me to lose all the installed softwares, including the Microsoft Reader. Unfortunately for me, the MR was activated using a hotmail account which I now no longer own. This means I cannot read my .lit files originally registered using that hotmail account. Can someone help me solve this problem? Thanks.

Don't you still own that Hotmail account? Just use it to activate MS Reader and the .LIT files...

I lost that account due to inactive use. I now have another hotmail account that I used to activate the Reader but unable to activate the .LIT files.

Have you tried emailing M$ support about this? I have found them to be pretty unresponsive, but you might get lucky.

Do you have the original .Lit files on your pc or a cd? if so, try copying them to your Axim and see if that helps.
