Individual volume control

With my old Clie, you could individually adjust the sound levels of alarms, clicks, system events, etc. Is this possible on the Axim? I'd like to set non-alarms to minimal noise and alarms to maximum.

Yeah that would be nice. It's really annoying to hear that stupid click sound... Especially when I'm trying to listen to music.

Have you tried changing Settings=>Sounds and notifications?

I'd still like to hear them, albeit at a much lower sound level relative to say music or alarms.

With AlarmToday ($9.95), you can set alarm and music volume seperately. Give the demo a try. This is one of my most used programs, for many of it's features. The author is also very responsive.

Hmmm, I'll give that a try. I guess I'll be finding out shortly, but does it let you set system event sounds to different volumes too?

I'm not 100% sure, since I haven't fiddled with such. There is a way to have a "Fixed Music Volume" and then there is an Alarm setting to "Override System Volume" - so maybe between the two, you get what you want.

You could also specify different sounds for different events.

I guess you could give it a try and see.

Isn't there a program that basicly makes the speaker go louder than the Windows volume control?
