Deleting a MP3/File

I moved a MP3 to the "files" folder on my desktop to sync with my axim.....it transfered fine..however now i want to get rid for it....i say delete and i get....."Cannot Delete: There has been a sharing violation. Source or destination file may be in use"..........im a lost new user

no reply needed......i figured it out...it was in the WMP playlist..which didnt want to let go

thanks for any consideration
im sure i will have more problems
