Processor speed

Start>settings>system>power>processor. It shows three settings MAX, POWERSAVE and AUTO. I would like to know which setting is the most popular among the Axim users out there.

I usually use Powersave. This is when I am writing down homework and such (PIM). Even in most games powersave works well. When I am watching a movie, playing a graphically intense game, or internet I switch between max and normal. I personally never really use auto.

I just switched to "powersave". Turning out to be perfect with my OEM battery.

i use auto, unless I'm playing mp3's in the car or using it as a stereo. Then I will turn on powersave.

Max power for .mp3 stereo, games and video.

i use the auto, i think it works fine, if im just playing a simple game of solitaire it will slow down, or if Im playing doom it will up it. By the way I only have the 312 mid model, not 624.

All I use is max. I have no problems and the damn thing is quicker than dial up and I'm using my nokia 6600 as a modem. God forbid I hook up wifi- its so quick and I can't find anything to complain about. Just maintain a cleaning as you would with your pc at home and all will be well. Dis card your temp files, use a sm card when available and do frequent soft resets. This things a champ. I've had my x30 high for about 2 weeks and had zero problems. Everyone else appears to be complaining but I'm not. Thank you dell! I love it.
