External power = max perform, battery = auto/powersave - how?

Hi all,

I hope I'm not missing an obvious way of doing this.

Can I set up my Axim to go to max power setting when on external p-oower, and then to go to auto or powersave when on battery (kinda like the backlight settings?)

Thanks!

I am assuming you are speaking of the proc speed?

If you have it on auto it will automaticaly run at max speed when you have it on external power.

Thanks for the help. I think I should have been able to figure that out, but I'm at school and don't have the manual with me...

(also, i thought 'auto' was more about matching proc speed to the task at hand instead of being related to power source, but the latter makes sense too)

Auto isn't very good if you are trying to save power, since it kicks upto to 624Mhz even when a application doesn't need it.
