Change defualt appointment alarm sound

I have pocket informant and as far as i know it uses the operating system to play alarms for appointments. Can someone tell me what wave file is used for these alarms and or how to customize alarms for appointments with PI. I'm thinking i can just replace the wave file (not sure what wave file to replace), but maybe theres another way?

anyone? All i need to know is what wav file windows uses for its appoinment/task reminder sounds.

I'm not sure about how PI does it, but the default is \windows\alarm1.wav and it can be chnaged to anything in Start, Settings, Sounds and Notifications.

thanks, when i replace the default wav with a 5mb song in .wav it wont play the wav file. Do you know if it has to be a certain type of wav file (super low quality)?
