Streaming music

Ok have a question ? I have a nice home system, linksys b-g router, and an X30. I would like to know how to stream my music from the desktop system wirelessly to my axim. I can browse using IE and see all the shared files, but when I go ot Media Player and try to do menu, open URL, and then select what I want it to play, it returns access denied ? Now I have made sure the folders that are shared have full access permissions, hence I can browse to the respective file and see what is shared on the desktop system, I just can not play music from the shared folders ? Any Ideas ? Thanks

If you want to just open the files that are in shared folders you can use Resco File Explorer or Netrunner.

If you want to stream the music you can use something like Windows Media Encoder (free from Microsoft)

This is not exactly what you are looking for but its cool:

Try GSPlayer for internet radios.

There are hundreds of channels, free music to listen to.
Then you can plug in the URL for any shoutcast stream in your Axim and play it wherever you have internet connection. It rocks! I actually made a playlist with WINAMP, copied it to my Axim and made an icon on the screen for it. GSPLAYER reads WINAMP playlists.
