I'm stumped!..tried all the tips but no dice

Sorry it's yet another page cannot be found scenario

New Axim X30 H
ROM version A05.
turned power save off.
Done the welcome.exe tip
using 'My work network'
checked the proxy server box tip.
soft booted.

all above several times, WiFi connects with strong signal, but every website = page cannot be found

have you tryed the wifi tutorial? It is pretty good.

Try settings>conections>network cards>(if wlan on)tap and hold on router>check if internet is selected>Network adapter tab>If "my network card connects to" work work is selected try internet or visa versa. I switch these around if I am having trouble connecting.

Have you got the "connects to" set to "work" or "internet"? If it is "work" then you need to set your proxy settings.

does your wireless router uses MAC access control?
if so, simply add axim's MAC
it can be found at
Dell wireless utility>network troubleshooting>advanced

You might have to manually set up your ip address. I know I had to on a netgear 802.11b router. POS. Anyway once you've done that and set up the gateway & DNS to 192.168.x.x everything might work.
