I have been having problems connecting with WiFi (X30 Hi). When I push the button to turn the wifi on, the green light on the attenna starts flashing, but the network connection symbol does not change (remains as two arrows and the "x" showing as not connected). After activating the Dell WLAN utility, it shows the client as Radio disabled.
I have tried multiple soft resets and really would like to avoid a hard reset.
Not exactly the kind of "help" I was looking for.....

This icon in times past was displayed any time Wifi was enabled, connection or not. I also have a wireless network utility tool (ministumbler) that will display all (both open and private) Wifi networks in the area. As a test, I activated this program (after I started having this problem) in an area that I knew had WiFi and it did not detect anything. Any ideas?
As another note, when I activate Wifi, go to the Dell WLAN utility, it states that the radio is disabled, although it has been turned on. After I select "enable radio", there is no change.
It sounds like the same problem I have been fighting this week. I just emailed dell and they are sending me a new unit. I have just done a hard reset anyway so its no big deal to start over.

u have same problem with me, but i have solved it. And now i can surfing on the net in my office anytime.
Tap and Hold a few seconds in the part of "Configure Wireless Networks" and select "connect" wait until ur device and Access points is "connecting". if ur X30 can't connect to the internet through Acces point, try to disable security on ur Access point and ur X30.
Ocassionally I have to do a soft reset... Disable the wifi and bluetooth by using the right side button and then enable with the right side button in order to get connection.
