Screen flicker problem after continuous use

I have had my X30H for about 8 months now. I don't know why, but after an hour of continuous use (high quality video or games, with cpu and backlight set to max), the bottom 3rd of the screen starts to get a slight flicker. It isn't very noticeable, except on the today screen. So, I felt the screen and the bottom felt a little warmer then the top. Does anyone else have a similar problem, or could this be faulty hardware?

I did notice that this occurs less with a higher battery charge (80% +), and it will disappear when the backlight is set to about 70% or less.

if i were you i would just call tech support and get a replacement x30 since you still have 4 months of your warranty left.

I agree with Bnet. Looks like there is a IC breaking down under heat causing the "jitters". Sometimes when a component becomes faulty it starts to dissapate heat ( usually the battery doesn't last as long)and this is the reason it feels warm to the touch.

I have the same, but it only happens rarely... I wouldn't worry about it, but if it really bothers you, send it back like the others say - it may only get worse
