How to Disable Bluetooth Permanently

Feel free to provide this how-to because i cant find how.

And i am everso tired of having to click on that ghey icon to disable bluetooth EVERY time I enable wireless.

Thanks in advance if you tell me how.

You can't because if you do a hard reset it will be enable again. If you want you can do a backup and then delete any entries related to bt* and see if your PPC is stable after. I use BT so I won't test this for you.

only enable wireless

I may be misunderstanding your question but I think if you use the little wifi icon on the bottom right to turn on wifi then only that gets enabled. Then the next time you use the hardware button to enable wifi it remembers you didn't enable bluetooth last time. I think that's how it works. I know I don't get bluetooth now when I use the hardware button to turn on wireless.

Actually, the X30H does not work like this. That's why Silentknight's Wifipower was written. (See link in #3.)

Installed it, got error about it being designed for an earlier version of windows CE.

and no it doesnt work.

Any more ideas?

ok i figured it out- it DOES work yeah!

i got lazy-

what you have to do is get the cab file on your ppc and click on it to install it. Then you map the former wifi/bluetooth button to the Wifipower Entry that
now appears in the Programs...
