I finished the restore, but the only change I can see is the wifi tab under power. (Well, it is nice to have the option of running wifi when your battery is below 30%) I am doing some exploring...I will let you know what I find out.

My Odyssey Client software was not working and the ROM update updated it. After I did a restore, I think it reinstalled the previous version becasue it was not working. Does a restore overwrite the new software? Also nothing appeared to be different after the ROM update; I didn't see the things it was supposed to update.

I bought my X30 'mid' from expansysUK last october. The ROM Version is: A00(04300400EN). I guess this was the first one ever or something, the axim works fine though. Am I missing out on anything? Is it worth upgrading to a newer version?

Problem with AO6 Update

I installed the AO6 ROM from the US website tonight. I have the X30 624 version. After the upgrade, it is only report 312 MHZ and it won't let me adjust it from "auto"...

Solutions? Guesses?

I have just updated to A06 from A05 and restored from my backup, and everything is working fine. I don't have the problem posted above either. Although, I think the Dell site mentioned that you can't restore from a backup from any earlier ROM version besides A05 when you update to A06.

I'm thinking of upgrading my ROM from A05. But want to clarify something. What kind of backup did you guys use? Normal Activesync backup or Sprite Backup?

I just backed all data up to my storage card using the factory included backup utility on my x30.
