New X30 Rom Released

I was randomly looking around on Dell's Download site, and came across a New ROM Update that says it was released 6/13/05 (today). It is A06.

http://support.dell.com/support/down...&fileid=131500

Dell says that it contains the following changes:

1. Added feature that allows the WLAN auto power-off feature to be enabled and/or disabled in the Power applet.
2. Updated the Funk Odyssey client to version 2.00.00.1681
3. Updated the Bluetooth stack to version 1.5.0.4300
4. Added support for Go Daddy SSL certificate

I don't know if I will update right away or not. I don't feel like taking the time, but the Bluetooth stack update is tempting. I wonder what it does.

i wonder if i'll do it too .. in some other threads there are links for a 1.6 BT stack driver.

I see little use in that upgrade if it is just a couple of builtin software updates

Did the upgrade...Worked with no problems. Did a full backup and then a restore. Everthing is working as before.

It's working as before, but is it better? Has anything improved? Is it worth doing? Jimmur, let us know what you think.

I see the download on the US site, but not the UK site. Should us UK folk be cautious of this download (i.e. US machines only) or maybe the UK site has yet to catch up?

Any UK folk installed it?
