Pen Doesn't work correctly

I'm not sure what I did, but I used to be able to write on the screen (in black), and it just recorded my writing. Now I have to use transcriber with recognition. How do I change it back? I don't want recognition or keyboard, I just want to write.

It's like the pen is stuck on select. Whenever I go into notes, I can't even open a file up. It just highlights the file.

In the X50 series there is a little button in the back that you can press to reset your axim.. There is a way to do it on the X3/X5/and X30 series too.

I tried that...it didn't work. I did hard reset, and everything works fine. Now I just have to reload. I wish I knew what happened.

I have noticed this in File Explorer. Sometimes it is stuck in select mode. It won't open anything, it will just highlight files and such. It's only happened to me once or twice. I soft-reset and it fixed it all.
