axim screws up after being idle

when i leave my x30h in my cradle for over 15, 20 mins, it dims but i can still see the screen, and if i press the power button, it won;t go off or on... when i tap on anything on the screen, the windows waiting(beach ball thingie) comes on and it just spins for eternity... can someone help me? I have to reset everything this happens...

Check that the Turn on device in suspend mode options are both checked in the Power Options under the settings menu.
