Annoyances during video playback

So I'm watching a video on my X30H and out of nowhere I get the error connecting to blah blah tooltip popping up and stopping my window. This is annoying as hell considering it pauses my playback and I turn off wi-fi to conserve power while watching videos. How do I go about fixing or getting rid of this?

What player are you using? What format are the videos encoded to? What software are you using to encode them?

A little bit of info on your setup will help with diagnosing the problem.

Try using either Pocket MVP or Beta Player.

If you are encoding from a DVD, FareUse Wizard is a great software to use.

This isn't a video playback problem, it's just the internet connections thing popping up after being unable to find a connection for a while. When the tooltip comes up, the video pauses and I have to hit play, etc again. This is pretty annoying.

Okay, nobody seems to be understanding my issue. I am running wisbar and on the top border, the wireless connection indicator pops a tooltip up periodically when I have wi-fi disabled. This tooltip causes the video I am playing fullscreen in TCPMP to pause. This is because the tooltip takes the focus of my screen. To me, this is annoying, because I would like to turn wi-fi off to conserve battery power and watch uninterrupted video at the same time.

Check your email Notifications and any Updating Today Plug-ins. :approve:

If any of them are set to automatically update and WiFi is Turned OFF, you will get that Pop-Up.

I just figured it out, changed some settings in Wisbar and it no longer pops up.

I also turned off automatic updating for my weather plugin and outlook. :)
