help a beginner out with wireless x30

hey. my girlfriend bought an x30, and it has wireless in it. well since we got it , it has never connected to a wireless network. i have tried to mess with settings many times already and nothing seems to work... can someone give me a step by step on how to set it up right ? ? it will find the networks, for example my network at home is called "linksys". it will see it, but it always says "Adapter not present". how can it see wireless networks around it, if there is no wireless adapter present ? I am so confused. I would really appreciate some type of walkthrough. thanks.

From what you're saying it looks like you're using the odyessy client.
Goto Settings> Connections> Odyssey client> Settings> Disable
Turn your wireless OFF by pressing the wireless on/off button
TUrn your wireless back ON by pressing the wireless on/off button
Give it a go, usually it's odyssey that's causing a problem. Or if not, the other way around.
You can always do a hard reset- usually that works for my PDA when it can see networks but can't connect.
Very frustrating isn't it? If you see the D@mn connection then connect to it!!!

just use the built in backup utility, to save all your pim, found under programs on your axim. Just select back up pim only and save to your sd card.
