Warranty Extension

Hey

Im from Canada.
MY X30H warranty is gonna end on the 25.
To extend the warranty they told me its $79 for 1 year and $119 for two years (Both Canadian $$$).

They also told me Im not eligible for complete care as I must purchase complete care within 30 or 60 days of purchase.

So I am wondering
1) Is there bargaining for warranties?
2) Anyone changed to complete care past first 30-60 day?
3) You think its still worth it considering that the X30 is at the end?

(3)-Well, figure out how long you plan to keep your axim. If its for a long time, get the extended warranty. If you plan to upgrade soon, the don't get it. But its all on how you feel and if you really think you'll need it and want to dish out that much cash. I'm from canada too and when i called to find out about the extended warranty, i was shocked at it being so expensive. Also, i usually upgrade every year, so the standard 1yr warranty was good for me. (i also figured i wouldn't need complete care)

Don't take this the wrong way, but you aren't the original owner of that unit. Why should Dell sell you anything since you didn't buy the unit from them in the first place?

Did you do transfer of ownership? You must do transfer of ownership by filling the form on the dell website on it. google it on their website with the following 'transfer of ownership'. fill the form and call them again the next day.
