How do you change the setting to save directly to the SD instead of intenal memory? Will this setting work when downloading using WiFi?

How do you change default from saving to internal memory to going straight to SD?

I don't think you can, you just have to learn how to navigate the menus. Dock your Axim, connect with ActiveSync, click Explore, double-click the My Pocket PC icon, then double-click the SD Card folder. This will open a folder that you can drag files into. When you do so, they will go to the SD card.

Don't even copy and paste. Right click the files, send to 'My Device', when the window pops up just choose the SD card (or any other branch of the tree such as BIS, CF or My Documents).

I do not have "Explore" or "My Pocket PC" or "SD Card Folder" I have the older 32MB version without bluetooth, etc. Are these items labeled differently?

I'm talking about from ActiveSync. Okay, do you have ActiveSync? What operating system does your PC have? Do you have the PDA cradle? Does ActiveSync connect to your PPC? (I'm assuming it does, since you have overloaded your RAM with data) My note above is the way to load files from ActiveSync. Let me see, more notes... You can also find the Mobile Device Icon from My Computer on your desktop and do pretty much the same thing. The SD Card folder looks just like other folders. It does not have a distinct icon, like the file explorer on your Axim.
Oh, and btw tiger_splash, the send to... doesn't give me SD Card on the popup menus, it just tries to send it to My Documents on My Pocket PC.

Thanks Pocket Brain. I had no idea that this thing was so complex. It is not very intuitive, is it? I ended up doing a hard restart, and started from scratch. It was so overloaded that I could not even open active sync.
