network drive disconnects

i am using the axim x30 and resco explorer 2003 to access files on my pc via my wireless network, using 802.11. it works fine for a little bit, then i can't access it all of a sudden. for instance, if i'm streaming a video from my pc to my ppc, the video will just stop and i cannot connect back to my pc, no matter what i do (remapping, resetting, etc). any insight would be appreciated.
