BIS: Funny behavior

So I decided to uninstall some of the programs from RAM and install them in BIS. Everything was going well and I had moved couple of programs to BIS without any problems. But then I noticed that some of the newly installed (in BIS) program icons were shoeing up as blanks. So I got into the memory settings only to find out that the BIS was gone! The message "memory not installed" was showing.

So I tried uninstalling the programs that were in BIS.. but no luck. X30 couldn't find the files. I connected with activesync and surprisingly there were NO SIGN of the built-in storage folder. It just vanished. It got me really worried but after quite a few soft resets the BIS was showing up in memory settings again and I had to manually delete the installed files there.

Why did this happen? Did I do anything wrong?

This has happened a lot to my past axims...I found that initiating a hard reset and then cancelling it (Pressing Contacts) will solve the problem every time. Sure beats soft resetting 50+ times!
