Attention; X3i users updated Wlan utitity available on Dell Site.

There is an Updated Wlan module for our beloved X3i. It is dated 07-05-2005. Here are the Specifics:

Description: This utility is to enhance the connection stability with certain wireless AP on the WiFi-only models. This utility is only necessary for Axim X3i with WiFi only. Axim X3 and X3i with WiFi and Bluetooth do not need this utility.

It is non destructive and all of your programs stay intact. All that is required is a soft reset. I am running it now with no problems. even WiFiFoFum works properly now in radar view. :approve:

The connection appears to be picking up the signal better from the AP. The site survey shows a stronger signal with increased distance from my Ap. Seems to be working well.
