ActiveSync freezes trying to resolve items

So I have an Axim X30, and I sync with a computer at work (Win 2k through Exchange server, Outlook XP) and home (Win 2k, Office 2003).

My ActiveSync on my home computer constantly gives me trouble. Usually it'll sync through it's "first pass" with no problems (syncing contacts, some Calendar items, AvantGo, etc), but when it goes for the "second pass", it'll freeze on the calendar (with 0 of 6 items completed). Soft resetting the Axim usually fixes this. However, after that, I get 6 unresolved items, and when I try to resolve them, the thing hangs. It looks like it's a problem with Outlook (maybe), because I can see through the task manager that Outlook gets opened in the background when trying to resolve items and just sits there. It's not actually frozen, you can see it trying to do something (the green sync circle thing still spins), but even leaving it overnight does nothing.

Any ideas? I've tried both ActiveSync 3.7.1 and 3.8. I've changed my settings to only sync the last 2 weeks of appointments in case it was one appointment from the past giving me troubles. I have no problems resolving items at work. I've used ScanPST to fix my outlook.pst (sometimes it has errors, but even when it doesn't I get the same problem).

Any help is very much appreciated!
