will snes emulators work with sound

On the Dell axim X30 mid will snes emulators work with sound???

no
sorry to answer just 'no' but even on a X30high you cant achieve fullspeed without sound or you need a frameskip = 4...
RPG are "playable" but never expect playing axellay on your PPC

I personally use MorphGear and the SNES9X plugin for it on my X30High. What I have to do in order to make anything playable is set my processor to max speed, then I have to close everything else. Using this emulator combination, I've been able to play through Final Fantasy IV and V with no problems. VI though, is darn near unplayable because of massive slowdowns. If you disable sound though, it flies. IMHO, MorphGear has more faithful sound reproduction than PocketSnes.
