wifi activesync connects but wont'n sync

If anyone could point me to a thread already devoted to this problem it would be greatly appreciated. I am new to the pocket pc's (diehard palm to the end). I have picked up an x30 and am attempting to connect via wifi. The wifi works, as it will connect to activesync (3.8) but won't sync. I am running windows xp home and norton antivirus ( I have tried turning it off but still won't sync). Again, any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Also, anyone have problems with the x30 attempting to reformat the sd card, it happens quite often.

Is it a Sandisk card? Those often have problems. You can try reformatting it using a card reader, and testing it on another device to see if it's really the card that's the problem.
