Problems w/Dell's Keyboard & TextMaker
Help Someone!

OK! I'm sitting down and attempting to pound out a writing project on my Ax (1st attemp, I'm really geeked) when I notice that my keyboard was not responding as advertised. The keys on some occasions would not type and other keys got stuck, producing eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! This all occurred in TextMaker, but when I typed in Notepad the response was better but still the response was not as I had expected. Do I need a patch, or do I need to tweak something in the system or is it Newbie-itis? Is anyone else having problem with their Dell keyboard and TextMaker in particular? I've read over several treads but wasn't able to find one that addressed this situation per se. Any suggestions are welcomed and thank you for your consideration in advance!

Tried of Typing eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

the "stuck key effect" is unfortunately quite common while using the dell's foldable keyboard..it happens to me each time i write a longer text in ms word...but try to download the latest driver from dell.com, i haven't done it yet...it's definately annoying

If this is standard for the Dell keyboard (stuck keys), is there a keyboard for our Axim that DOES NOT stick and works as a normal (some what) keyboard? Any suggestions!

I installed the patch for the keyboard but it did not make a difference.

Disappointed

yeah, the same thing happens to me when i use the dell flodable keyboard. I have reverted back to using my old sony clie stowaway keyboard just for typing notes. I use the axim for everything else.

So, if anyone knows of any drivers, patches etc. for the problem concerning the dell flodable keyboard it would be appreciated.
