Thought I would submit this short review of the Sena Axim case. It is very well constructed and it looks great. It has slots for 2 spare SD cards and presumably a CF card. It has a cover that snaps via a tab on the back of the case. Two problems, which I admit I did not think of before ordering the case:

1. Using the Axim with the extended battery will not fit in the case; and

2. You can't (at least I can't) place the Axim in the cradle with the case on.

Other than that, it is a very high quality case. Oh yeah...3. the belt clip is extra.

the case techworks case will sync in the cradle with the case on the AXIM

does anyone know if any of the other cases allow for this?

Adapture actually has two types of PreZent Cases: aluminum and plastic.

Just wanted to know if anyone has an opinion on the Belkin flip case that was posted. Kinda hard to find them being sold anywhere, but CDW has it listed for $20.04, much better than the price on Belkin's site. Anyone have one of these? I'm about to order it. It's the kind of case I want for the right price.

The otter case does accomodate the extended battery. You have to use the smallest "shimmy" things they send. It's GREAT!

My friend bought one and we are supposed to meet up Saturday after class, so I can see hers. :D

The shimmy thing is the foam inserts they include with the case to make the Axim fit in securely and not move around.

My X5 just came in and the "whatever" you call it case that came with it from Dell went into the trash can.

I purchased a few options like the wireless CF card that allows me to have the mobility that I need. Stuffing it into a case that is not CF card friendly and cliping it to my belt does me no good.

The shopping list is a wonderful list - great job! It afforded me the opportunity to click around without having to waste my time searching for the case options. (we should have one of these for other hardware too.)

I went with the iHolster from iProducts:

This seems to me to be the most logical option since I can have my 802.11 CF card sticking out a half inch while affording me quick and easy access to the PDA when an email or IM comes in without having to "unfold" or open any other cases. When I am not in the office or on the go, Just flip the X5 around "face-in" to protect the screen. Not to mention, the case can "Clip" to a car mount and provide me easy access to my GPS card without any hassle.

I hope it's what I expect it to be. Thanks to the forum for helping me make my decision. (I like the metal case but it's not practical and does not flip all the way around - bummer.)
