I have a X5 with a Symbol CF WIFI card.

I have installed skype, and I am able to login, and to call other skype users and skype out.

But my problem is, that sound quality is very poor. I have a lot of noise on the line, and the transmission of sound (both ways) seems to bee failing.

I have tryid using earphones to prevent the speaker interfering with the mic, but no luck.

The problem is so big, that it makes communication impossible.

Don't know if there is a connection, but when im using tomtom5, the sound sometimes also fails.

Please help me if you have some knowledge of this.

I'm using Skype with my X3i.

Had some problems too - until I adjusted the cpu speed to: automatic

You may try the 'line' quality by calling 'echo123' which will relay your 10 sec message automatically.

I use it for mike level adjustments.

I have the same problem at home, but it worked perfectly at work. i.e. DSL at home is slow speed, and at work, it is T1 speed.

So your answer is that my X5 should work perfectly on a fast internet connection?

I have a 2024/512 kbit connection, shouldn't that be enough?
