I recently bought a compact flash Wifi card for my axim I want the card to do double duty in my laptop at work (I work out of a pickup truck ) . We have internet access locally with a wireless provider and I need the cf card to work through a PCMCIA slot on the laptop .Is there any thing in particular I need to look for in the adapter or will any of the adapters work ?

As far as I know, any adapter will work. The thing you should be worried about is the wifi card not working. I have read that some do have drivers for computers as well as the Axim, and some do not. It really depends on the brand you have. Good luck getting it to work.

I bought the DLink DCF660W . I haven't went that deep yet but Dlink does offer drivers on their site I guess I had better look .
