modem card costs money to use?

when i use my modem card to connect to the internet and use msn messenger does it costs money when i resieve messages?

When you use a modem, you are using dialup. If need to pay your ISP for dialup, then yes, it will cost you money to check your email and surf on the Internet.

how much does this costs? i dont think i have to pay for ISP because my dad sells our internet at his pharmacy. Im not positive ill have to ask.

Do you use dialup or broadband (e.g., DSL, cable, etc.)? If you use dialup, then yes, it is like when you use access the Internet on your computer. Ask your dad to be sure.
