Anybody used the Fossil PDA Watch?
So, has anybody used the Fossil PDA watch? It is going for pretty cheap on ebay. I understand that it is huge, but I am still thinking about getting one. I can't seem to get myself to wear a watch, I always end up taking them off, and never putting them back on. I am thinking if it was a geeky PDA type watch, maybe I would keep it on. Well, anybody used it, and if so what are your thought? Thanks.

Not to discourage you from trying a new toy, but I had your problem with watches. I tried lots of watches, bands, even a pocket watch. I had one watch that I really liked, I just couldn't keep it on my wrist.

When I got my first PDA, that was the end of the watches. Of course, it is pretty obvious when you check what time it is. Today, I'm generally in front of a computer with the correct time in the lower right.

Is it that bad,Damager.

Anyway, the specs on this thing isn't so bad. I wonder why Fossil is jumping into the technilogical side?

It's awful - huge, sucks batteries, the sync software bombs out on the PDA side, the button stick and have no feedback - really awful.

question isnt that the PDA watch you can sync with your actual PDA via IR so you can leave the PDA behind and then just get your alarms on it?

I think it might be OK to just get your alarms and apps on it while you cant have you PDA with you no? unless of course there is no IR and you have to sync with the desktop and then it really sounds like a dumb idea to begin with...

It has an IR port, and you can sync contacts, to do list, calander, and notes on it. Man, I wish I had waited so I could get yours Damager. O well, I ended up getting one for $26 shipped on ebay. It will be interesting to see if I agree with your assesments. I read a bunch of reviews by people who liked it. We'll see.
