Good, Inexpensive Screen Protectors

Can someone give me a recommendation on some decent screen protectors that don't cost too much or give me some GOOD reasons I should pay for something like Writeshield. I can't see myself paying $30 for 3 pieces of plastic unless it is absolutely necessary.

I don't think there is such a think as good and cheap when it comes to screen protectors. You can choose one or the other. Personally, I can't even contemplate using a cheap protector. The expensive ones don't distort the color at all, can last for years instead of months, drastically reduce glare on the screen, and provide a better writing surface. Since they last a long time, you really don't have to buy a 3 pack. You can get just one for pretty cheap here
You really do get what you pay for with the expensive ones.

If you can get them added to an order where you aren't paying shipping, one of the "good ones" should last you quite a while.

If you could buy the Brando for $8.95 then it would qualify as both good and inexpensive. When I tried to buy one they had almost doubled. Somebody recently said they are almost back to $12 but they are out of stock.

Good for how long? Good for a week, or for many months as my WriteShield has been? I briefly used the cheap but good on my Palm. Big mistake.

i just use homemade screen protectors - should be a link on this board somewhere, do a search :)

i picked mine up at Office Depot - 12 8.5x11" sheets for $10.99.
each sheet makes me 12 screen protectors, so that's a total of 120 screen protectors for just $10.99 which works out to about 9 cents per sceen protector (much better than the $10 per screen protector for the premium shiznits)

it's got some white crap on it for some reason though, but when the backlight is on, all that is completely invisible :)
and their usual span is about 3 weeks before it gets too scratched, but i replace them on a monthly cycle - these 120 should last me the life of my axim (and more, really)!

Cheapest way is to make your own out of whatever transparent plastic you have.
