Just as an FYI, I am new to this forum and I am posting my first message.

Three months ago I bought a used Dell Axim x5, with an upgrade of the OS from Windows Mobile Pocket PC 2002 to 2003. I just recently bought an Xterasys 802.11b CF WiFi card and have been unsuccessful in getting the driver to launch. I have downloaded the driver from www.prism.tjtech.com and have tried downloading the driver for the x5 from the Xterasys website (obviously the driver that came with the card did not work), neither worked. It was suggested that I power off the unit, then power on...this didn't work. A hard reset did not work either. The first card I bought would not work on units that had an OS upgrade from '02 to '03 (did not know this until reading the user's manual on the CD that came with the card!). So, now I am on WiFi card #2 and still no success. I have tried everything suggested, to the tee. Does anyone have any suggestions for a compatible WiFi card that I could use?

Any help is appreciated!

I just purchased a Linsksys Wi-Fi CF card. I cannot find out how to find the IP address on my Amix 5. I would love to upgrade to 2003 OS, but I can't find a disk to upgrade. Good luck, I hope you get connected. I will keep working at mine and if I do get connected I will thread back to you.
