Question RhinoSkin aluminum Case

I live in Manitoba, Canada. Can someone point me in the right direction to purchase one of these cases from a Canadian supplier? I can only find them online and ordered from the USA. It would be less complicated to get it from inside the country.

no they do not. Dell has an UNBELIEVABLY limited selection of cases, screen protectors, memory, and CF accessories on the canada website. It boggles the mind how the amercian website has so much more.

Some staples sell them for 100$ CDN but its a ripoff and you are lucky if they get 1 instock every 2 months. (I don't even think they are the Axim model, but they do carry some rhinoskin aluminum cases)

If you can find an american store that ships USPS or accepts requests to ship with USPS instead of UPS or fedex expedited (or fedex standard and they accept duty fees on your behalf, which www.ebgames.com is the only place I've seen to do that), go for it, USPS may take a week, week and a half tops longer to ship then UPS standard to canada, but they dont charge the outrageous duty fees that UPS charges.

Hmmm, sorry. Well, I don't know if this will work any better, but I bought mine from Innopockets and it shipped directly from Taiwan. I don't know if that would still create the same problems, but at least it takes the US border out of the equation.

It is kinda slippery. Pretty difficult to describe. I have no problems holding onto it and I don't think most people do. It is just a change to get used to. Sorry I can't be more descriptive.

I'd agree here. The case is brushed aluminum, it is smooth. There are gripper dots on it, but they don't seem to be a position that fits anyone's hands. I have teeny weeny female hands (the case is wider than my palm) and the slippery-ness is no longer really an issue for me. Other folks have reported using types of tape and things to add a better grip along the sides.

Hope this helps.

No problems with feeling that it will slip here. Great protectiong for my Axim. Bring it to and from work in it but I take it out when I get in.

Very happy with it.

The cover seems to get in the way a little. I've only had it about a week so I may get use to it.

I wish it had little feet so the case didn't lay flat on the table/desk. I'm going to pick up some small felt stickons to use as feet to keep the case from getting scratched.
