Portable Sync Cord

I don't want to buy a second cradle for work and I am not exactly worried about a charger at this very moment, but have any of you tries this item from PocketPC Techs?
http://www.pocketpctechs.com/detail....=DX5-LILSYNC01
It's a retractable sync and charge cable. The only thing is in the picture it looks like it's USB to serial and I want USB to USB sync cable.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Also, while we're at it, that site shows a 128mb RAM upgrade, the company is 20 minutes from me (without psycho orange county traffic) so I could drive my Ax up there and let them do it. Is it stupid for me to think about that? Someone said I couldn't upgrade Ram, but there was a company in the UK that did it---I found one in CA that does ;)

I just bought a USB charging/sync cable, brand new off EBAY for $2.95.

It is a USB to Axim cable. In the picture the top connector would fit into the bottom port on your Ax. I'm not sure what you mean by USB to USB. They do make those but that wouldn't be for the Axim since the Axim does not have a USB port.

BTW, don't expect to be able to charge the Axim with this or any other charge/sync cable, at least while it's turned on. Most computer USB ports do not supply enough power to charge a running Axim and, in fact, when you have it plugged in when the battery level is somewhat low (below 70% in my case), the battery level will start dropping quickly.

Thanks! What I was going to do was get that cable (which I spoke out of line and forgot that the Ax isn't sitting IN USB---that's my bad) and I was going to spend the $19.00 on Dell to get the charger. I just love the cradle, but I am somewhat reluctant because the first time I brought my cradle to work from home it was distracting. People like blue lights what can I say!

My alternative is to get the cradle for its ease of use and just toss some sticker over the "Dell" logo.

Yikes!

I have the Boxwave version of this cable and I like it a lot. It does charge the axim, even when it is on, just not all that quickly. I would highly recommend it if you need a very portable cable. If however is is something that is just going to sit at your desk always connected, I would recommend getting a non retractable. They are longer and about half the price.
