Are there any word processors that aren't as expensive as TextMaker which will allow good note taking in outline form?

I've been using the demo of Streamliner from Kopsis for a couple of weeks. The outline functions are thorough, but the formatting when transferring back to Word documents is a little difficult. I haven't figured out how to copy and paste within an outline either.

On the other hand, it's definitely cheap.

I like the "tree format" programs for organizing information and making lists, but most are too slow to use for note taking.

I saw one on freewareppc.com called "ADB Idea Library" that you might try.

I experimented with these programs initially. All of them were easy to use: Listtree, Notetree, Easylist (Ultimately I chose Trenotes for other features.)
