Just read it, I just do not know what to call it.
I saw this device for the ppc that would clip on a notebook (an ordinary one), using a special pen (with ordinary ink) writes it on my ppc or pc via USB or IR. I know that they make one for palm but are small; this one goes on a normal note book for school. If you seen it or something like it please reply with a link.

I have seen one in my school bookstore before. It seemed kind of expensive though. I think it was $100.

Well, I will admit that it is easier to write on a pad and paper than it is on the PDA sometimes. Plus, you won't have to worry as much about scratching up the screen (if you don't use a screen protector).

Especially, if you have the tendency to write big. I could see an advatage to using the PDA, however.
-No need for an eraser/white out.

Before you buy it, make sure they have an appropriate driver for the Dell. I have a Seiko SmartPad II I bought for my Palms and apparently it will not work with the Dell. It works on other PPC's running PPC2002, but not an Axim.

Well, it is listed on Mobile Planet under accessories for the Dell, so I would hope it would work. Of course, with Mobile Planet, you never know. lol
