Screen scratching stylus

When holding and using my stylus in a certain position it will scratch my screen. I tried to gently rub my stylus with velvet-like sanding paper. Altough it is better now I'd like to ask if anyone has any other suggestions to smoothen my Stylus tip?
Tanks!;)

If your stylus is messed up I'd suggest getting a new one. As for scratching the screen, are you using a screen protector? If you don't have one there there is no room to complain about your screen being scratched. There are several brands recommended on the site so it comes down to a personal preference.

You are right. I use home made screen protectors; works great! But I don't want to keep replacing them every time I used the stylus. Sanding paper seemed to work well, the tip is much better now. Just curious about other solutions.

I noticed scratches on my screen protectors when using the Dell stylus, also. Since then I have resorted to just using a pen/stylus/pencil combo.
