I have had a Rhino, Dell leather and a DSI and prefer the DSI over all of them. The belt clip, albeit a little dorky, is great when traveling through the airport or sitting on the plane. I found the Rhino to be very bulky and hard to hold and the Dell the leather was a waste of $25 dollars

Well, I am using the extra capacity battery, so the DSI does not feel bulky to me at all. :D

I like the DSI. As for looking "dorky"? C'mon embrace your geekness. I carry it without fear...of course I also carry a gun on my belt for a living.

See, you are used to batman belts. It would look REALLY wierd for me to carry my DSI case on a belt as I am female. :D

I got the DSI last week for my husband. He thought the way it opened was a little difficult so I took it. When I put the Ax in it, it seemed very unprotected. Almost the whole back is open plus the sides. Does the Rhino cover the Ax better or is it basically the same?

The Rhino is a full on enclosure. The back, front, and sides are all protected.

Big Smile Follow up assessment of DSI / Superbuy online

Well,

I let one week pass and pulled out the DSI again. I guess, in retrospect, it isn't THAT big and THAT geeky overall.

Interestingly, the president of the company that I bought the DSI from directly wrote me an email when I asked about refunds - great customer service! He also steered me away from the Galanteya as a case to buy.

I ordered the Bellagio - I'll review it when I get it.

Basically - the DSI will be used maybe when I'm in the mood for using a more protective case.

Again, though - it still adds alot of bulk around the screen - which I don't really like.

This doesn't mean it won't be great for others, though!!!
