Targus CD 56k modem $30
Anyone notice that the Targus CompactFlash 56 modem is now $30 at CompUSA? I bought one, and it works great. Nothing to set up really, except for your dial-up settings (I signed up for Copper.net's 3 months for $5 deal). The modem sucks up power big time though. I was kind of spoiled by my Dell wi-fi card, which seems to suck up a negligible amount of power.
