Question How useful is a 4 in 1 pen/stylus?

Do many folks use one of these? I've always carried a brand name pen in my pocket, but I've considered getting a 4 in 1 to carry around when I've got my Ax with me to use the pens, highliter, and the stylus. At 14 bucks it not much of an expense, but if few people find them useful, I'd likely just continue to use my PDAPanache custom stylus and be done with it.

Do you use one? Is it a pain to switch? What features do you use the most? Replace inks often? yada yada yada....

Thanks for your input!

I love mine. I use it the majority of the time. I find it is easier to hold and use than the normal stylus, and the tip is more pointy and softer than the included stylus, so I don't notice as many spots on my protector.

I love mine. I have the Belkin 4-1 (pen light, laser pointer, black pen, & stylus). It feels much, much better in my hand. I feel like i'm in more control of the stylus. The pen is nice, it's smooth, the pen light works well when I need to get behind my computer and the laser pointer, well, the cats just love that! :-)

I got mine for $20 from pcconnection.com including shipping (I ordered it on a Tuesday night and received it on Thursday).

I have the Stylus-Black-Red-Pencil 4-in-1 from Belkin. I really cannt believe how useful it is, not to mention super-cool, when you are tapping on the Axim, and suddenly you pop out the red pen to write down something on a piece of paper ;)

I also have that pen/stylus. It is a little bit top heavy, though.

i like mine... its a staedtler Mars data 3 [3] tip pen, a white stylus a black ballpoint pen and a .7mm mechanical pencil. got it for 8 bucks on sale at du-all insturment serv. its a drafting and artist place. i like it its pretty handy and easy to use. and its very thin considering how wide most multi tip pens are.

I find it's a bit of a pain to be switching between pen and stylus when I need to write and use my Axim. I got my wife a Sensa Minx pen/stylus from styluscentral.com. It was a bit pricey ($35) but it has a stylus on one side and a retractable pen on the other. Real easy to just flip the pen over to get to the right instrument. It fits nicely in her Dell zip case. And it is sooo comfy!

I have the Belkin 4 in 1, red, black ink, pencil, stylist. My car is my mobile office and although I don't carry it in my pocket I do leave it on the console and use it alot.
I bought it from Best Buys for $14.99 - $10.00 rebate, you can't go wrong for $4.99.

cheaper still and no adapting to do - I used to use the cap of a bic biro (there's a hole in it to stop little uns choking on it) and it worked fine. In fact I still use the cap latch to prise off my Dell protector when it gets a bit too bubbly. I have a Belkin 4 in 1 that my brother bought me for my birthday now, and must admit that it looks (and feels) much swankier than the bic!

I have a couple of PHD 3 in 1s - made by Paper Mate. They're only $7 or so and have a nice rubber grip.
