I am going to buy a sandisc 256 Mb expansion card to my AXIM but I dont know which one, Which is faster, which is better, which has less problems, which has better funtionallity, any one can help with this, tell me what are the differences between those technologies.
I suppose you mean a memory card. There have definitely been a lot of problems with Sandisk SD cards on Axims. I have found my CF cards to be faster than my SD card. As you are asking about Sandisc I suggest going for the CF card.
even though there are less problems with a cf and they are cheaper your cf slot can be used for more that just memory where Sd is memory only right now (eventually I guess there will be wifi but not now). I would get a simpletech sd card and save my cf for something else.
If you're talking about larger capacities you can get bigger CF cards for less money than SD of the same size, if they are even available yet (i e 1 gig sd cards aren't due out for awhile yet--but soon). For someone like me that uses their ax as a gps the cf slot is eaten up by the gps and I have only the sd slot for map storage. Of course if I switched over to a mouse gps that connect through the sync connector then my CF card would be free too.
i use a 256 MB SD and CF card. lots of storage and program capacity. SD is a PNY and CF is sandisk. no problems with either. since i do want to have some flexibilty i use CF for storage so i can add a toy if i want to. ;)

First, I wouldn't personally buy a Sandisk SD card. Get Lexar or Kingston. Secondly, SD cards are the way to for expansion memory. Reason being, you can have the memory expansion and still use your CF lot for other things such as a wifi card. CF cards are faster than SD cards also. But you lose your expandability for using a CF slot for memory.
