Case for AXIM with GPS installed?

Im looking for a case or pouch that will hold both the AXIM and the Haicom HI-303 or Holux GM-270. (undecided about which GPS ill get)
I want to be able to quickly take the AXIM and GPS out of the vent mount, and toss it in the case with the GPS installed in the CF slot.
Also what is the best setup for a car charger if i leave the GPS on for long trips?
Im debating on wether to go with the belkin charger from Dell.
One more thing what brand is the SD media sold by dell? For 256mb @ $70 doesnt seem like to bad a price.

I ordered the SD card from Dell when I purchased my AXIM June 16th (still waiting for my free upgrade) and it was a SanDisK. I haven't had any trouble with mine.

I have a Vaja leather case (magnetic closure) and I love it...nice slim fit and the cover flips out of the way for writing or using the AXIM. You would have to take out the CF GPS though if you want to close the case, but if you are using the GPS while in the case you would want it open anyway.

Check out the cases designed for digital cameras. The URL=http://www.lowepro.com/pages/bySeries/z.htm]LowePro Z-Series[/URL] is quite good and is inexpensive

The LowePro D-RES 120 is a nice one as well. I use that one all the time for my jam bag...

Hello,

I just received my case yesterday, and it is perfect. (in my mind!) I purchased it online from http://www.styluscentral.com/pifrledeaxca.html which I heard from this list. It has all the slots and cutouts to access everything you need. The quality of leather is the highest quality available, inside and out. The magnet closure is nice also. It also includes a belt clip. Look into it. It cost $49.99 including freight, and delivery was 2 days. Incredible!

:)

Dennis,
That does look like it would do the trick and its only $15.
Im not sure what the overall height will be of the AXIM with the Holux CF GM-270 installed, and wondering if anyone could let me know what that might be.
The dimesions on the D-RES 120 are 3.5W x 1.25D x 6H in. (9 x 3 x 15 cm)

I have the i.Trek CF GPS (Holux 270 clone) and the Axim/GPS combo will fit in the D-Res 120, zipped up. in the back pocket of the D-Res (it's a tight fit, but it does work). You can't use the special mesh pocket in the D-Res (unless you want the GPS sticking up about an inch above the case).

I wouldn't have believed that it would fit, but it does!
