CF Modem - From An Australian point of view
I'm interested in buying a CF Modem for my Axim but I don't want to pay the $180AUD that exists here. If I was to buy from the States where it's much cheaper what compatibility issues might there be in terms of the socket type and Australian phone lines/sockets.

Any ideas??

I have used modems bought in the US in the UK and New Zealand; no problems. You will need a modem/phone socket converter, Dick Smith sells them.
